Free listing terms

These terms cover a free listing for your business in Kineo's local directory. Kineo is operated by Cole Brink, a sole proprietor, under the business name Kineo registered in Alberta, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ("Kineo", "we", "us"). You agree to them when you tick "I agree to the listing terms" and send your listing.

1. What a listing is

A listing shows your business's name, logo, description, category, location and ages in Kineo's directory, with a button that sends families to your own website or sign-up page. Families sign up and pay with you, not with Kineo. Kineo is not part of any agreement between you and a family.

2. It's free

There is no charge to list, and no fee on anything families book through your own site. If you later choose to take bookings and payments on Kineo, our Terms of Service apply to that, and you accept them when you create an account.

3. You're authorized

You confirm that you are authorized to list this business, and that you have the rights to the name, logo and words you send us.

4. You're responsible for your listing and your programs

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for keeping it up to date. You are also responsible for your programs themselves: their safety, staff, supervision, insurance, prices, refunds, and following the laws that apply to them.

5. What Kineo does and doesn't do

• We read each listing, and each change to it, before it appears. We may edit a listing (to fix a typo, shorten it, or match our style) or remove it at any time, with or without notice.
• We do not vet, inspect, license or endorse any business or program. A listing on Kineo is not a recommendation, and checking a program is right for their child is up to each family.
• The directory is offered as it is. We don't promise any number of visits, clicks or sign-ups.

6. Showing your listing

You let Kineo show your business's name, logo and description in the directory, and in Kineo's own marketing about the directory (for example, a post showing programs in your city). This permission is free, and ends for anything new when you delete your listing.

7. Your information

We use the name and email you give us to confirm, review and manage your listing, and to email you about it. We keep a record of when you agreed to these terms and which version. If you arrived from one of our ads, we note which ad, to measure what our ads cost; we don't use advertising trackers. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

8. Changing or removing your listing

You can edit, hide or delete your listing at any time with the link in your emails from Kineo. We read every change before it shows; until then, families see the version we approved. If you never confirm your email, the listing is deleted once the confirmation link expires.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Your listing records the version you agreed to, and we'll email you before a material change applies to it.
